I know that the White House is asking that we "tattle" and turn in people in opposition to the President's policies. Who sounds "fishy" in the whole government-runs-everything programs? Who reaaly needs to be turned in---members of Congress for not reading the bills and voting on socialist programs? The President for pushing his far-left radical agenda? The media for not reporting the facts and promoting the president?
The below letter can be written by many Americans who fear for their Country and the true American way of life. I am turning myself in. I oppose the radical government control policies supported by President Obama and the left-wing Democrats in Congress. I opposed the stimulus done by President Bush, the stimulus signed by President Obama, the omnibus bill with all its pork projects, the cap and trade bill passed by the House, and the "cash for clunkers" bill. I oppose closing Guantanamo. I think President Obama and his wife both promote racism since it helps their political agenda. I believe that President Obama is not an honest man and I do not trust him to make decisions that are best for America. I believe that he hides any information that does not make him look good and he lacks experience and leadership qualities. I believe the recession is far from over as companies continue to fire employees because they cannot afford to hire them. I believe the national debt and deficit will continue to grow as tax collections continue to fall and the numbers of people depending on government bailouts continue to grow. I blame the Obama policies supported by the House and Senate for this sad state of affairs in our country. I don't see anything positive happening as a result of these policies. I believe the economy would be well on the way to recovery if Obama had not jumped in and promoted uncontrolled spending and the House and Senate supported him. I believe that President Obama puts union leaders ahead of the average American citizen. I believe he received huge political contributions from the unions and he is paying them back by supporting them. I believe the unions were responsible for the downfall of the auto industry. I question that anyone in DC really understands that the decisions they are making are wrong for growth and are taking this country down the wrong path. I see no signs of change in DC so I have no hope that things will turn around until we get change. I believe the voters elected President Obama because they actually believed that he would turn the economy around and create jobs and make life better for all Americans. That hope and change seems to not be working too well. I pray that we do not give his ideas more time to work. It could be too late to recover for years and years! And I think that the proposed health care bill that he says he will pass, is one of the worst things that could happen to this counry. I believe that Americans will have to wait in lines, get on waiting lists for surgeries, be refused medications they need due to high costs, and that the elderly will not get the care they currently receive but will be made comfortable as they live their final years and days, with pain pills. As I age I certainly don't want a government counselor working with me to make my final years and months easier. I think that should be a good doctor and my family and friends. If it costs too much to keep me alive, that should be my decision, not the Obama Administration. I believe that President Obama puts trial lawyers ahead of the average American citizen. I believe he received huge political contributions from them. He is against Tort reform. The huge medical settlements make it necessary for all doctors to carry large amounts of insurance in case they are sued. I believe that raises our medical costs. I believe there should be limits placed on medical payouts due to law suits. Obama is against limits and sides with the trial lawyers. (John Edwards, former presidential candidate, is a very rich trial lawyer and earned huge sums of money based on medical lawsuits. His NC home is one of the largest private homes in the state.) I believe the government will have access to private information regarding the finances of every American and that the government will be able to tap into the finances of American citizens to pay for health care. The government will also be able to use this information to tax American citizens. I believe that the Obama Administration is the "big brother" that we have dreaded all our lives. Today I heard President Obama advising his supporters to get in the faces of those who disagree with him. I have heard people in the administration saying that the people attending town hall meetings and speaking in opposition to health care, are members of gangs and are dressed too well to be real. I have heard that these people are being bused in to the meetings by organized groups. I just heard an ad that calls those attending town hall meetings "angry mobs" and " rabid right wing extremists". When the govenment starts to criticize and make fun of protesters in town hall meetings, belittling them as thugs and gang members who are not acting on their own, that is a scary thing. And when the president encourages people to get in the faces of protesters, that is scary. What will be the next suggestion made by the president to control the protesters? And how far will he go to silence the protesters? I have not been asked to write this e-mail. I have not been encouraged to attend any town hall meetings. No one has offered me money to protest against President Obama and the House and Senate members. I am acting on my own. I have the ability to think for myself and believe that I can make the decisions best for me. I plan to continue to speak up and let those around me, as well as Senator Hagan and Representative Kissell, know how I am reacting to what is going on. I have never before been a political activist but I have never before seen government out of control as it is in 2009. I will support those who oppose what is happening and I will speak out until our govenment starts behaving in a manner that will benefit our country. I encourage the American people to speak out and attend town hall meetings and ask questions if they are concerned about their country. We still have the right to speak out. I am copying this e-mail to a lot of people. They have to make up their own minds about how far they are willing to go to protect their own healthcare. They have to decide if they are going to attend a town hall meeting. I hope this e-mail will encourage them to speak out. But I am not forcing anyone to agree with me. I am not threatening anyone. I am angry but I am not a mob. I consider myself a conservative, not a "rabid right wing extremist". So, White House, I have officially tattled on myself and turned myself in..........How much trouble am I in? How will you use this information against me? Can I save my Country from you--I will try. -

I have had enough of radio and TV comedians going after the daughters of Governor Palin. It is out of bounds to suggest the rape or sexual conduct of her daughters or anyone else's daughter. I support Governor Palin when she says that "comedian David Letterman owes an apology to young women across the country for his joke about her daughter".
The Alaska governor appeared on NBC's Today show Friday, insisting that Letterman "apologize to young women" for a joke he made on the air about one of her teen-age daughters. Letterman admitted on his show that his wisecrack about a theoretical statutory rape of one of Palin's daughters was in bad taste, but didn't go further. Palin, the Republican vice presidential candidate last year, said Friday that isn't good enough. Letterman had joked that a Palin girl "was knocked up" by a player at a New York Yankees baseball game. He seemed to be referring to 18-year-old Bristol Palin, an unwed mother. But it was her 14-year-old sister Willow who was at the game with family members. Letterman and others go after the Governor's daughters because they see her as a threat on their issues such as guns and abortion. This is the same tactic that the Democrats have used in filing "ethic violation" charges. The Governor has beat all 14 ethic violations filed by liberal members of the Democrat Party. They want to derail Governor Palin for future national political offices. David Letterman should be fired for his attack on Governor Palin and his "degrading comment about a young woman". This type of comedy is NOT FUNNY. -
