Why is it that "progressive liberal" Democrats attack Mike Steele, Sara Palin, and other conservative individuals? It is because they want to personally destroy individuals who are a threat to them. This is the same reason that the Democrats attack the Catholic Church and the Protestant religion. They know that if they attack these individuals or organizations, they may not get push-back from them on their very liberal and socialist views.
If Mike Steel was a Democrat and the Republican Party went after him like the Democrats are doing, then they would be called a racist. Democrats use the old tried and true race issue when they do not have the facts to back them up.
According to the Washington Post, "Steele has put a public face on what had been largely a behind-the-scenes job, hoping to foster what he has called a "hip-hop" Republican renaissance. That high profile has been accompanied by a record of lavish spending and a string of gaffes, leading some party activists to complain that Steele revels in the perks of the office while neglecting some of the onerous work necessary to reclaim majorities in the House and Senate. This narrative grew more damaging last week with the disclosure that RNC staffers approved a $1,900 bill at a Hollywood nightclub that features topless dancers mimicking lesbian sex acts while wearing bondage gear."
Now, the Washington Post is saying that Mike Steele was elected as RNC Chairman because the Republican Party wanted a "black" to counter Obama. The Washington Post reported...To understand how this one-term lieutenant governor from Maryland became his party's national chairman, go back to the day he was selected, Jan. 30, 2009. It was one week after Obama's historic inauguration, and many in the Republican Party were demoralized and seeking new direction. In a crowded field of candidates for the chairmanship, Steele stood out -- a 6-foot-4, dapper, television-friendly former politician who spoke eloquently of expanding the party's base to include more blacks and Latinos. He offered a break with history as the first African American chairman of what he referred to over and over again as the "party of Lincoln." "The party has really wallowed in the sewers of racial politics in the country," said NAACP President Ben Jealous, a longtime Steele friend. "Mike Steele is their chance to get back on higher ground."
Mike Steele will live and die as Chairman on the amount of money he raises and the number of elections the Republican Party wins. Mike has good political instincts and is a survivor. An exception is Virginia. Steele won praise for his work on behalf of Republican Gov. Robert F. McDonnell, who was elected in November in a landslide. At Steele's direction, the RNC invested more than $9 million in the state, helping fund field operations and get-out-the-vote efforts that helped GOP candidates sweep the statewide races.
The Washington Post thinks that a large number of "big donors" are not giving to the RNC because of Mike Steele. That is not true. A large number of donors are giving directly to candidates or Congressional committees since they want to make a direct impact and the RNC only supports candidates that they decide can win. Many of us gave to Scott Brown and other Republicans directly since we wanted to make an impact on races that we determine are critical.
For example, Lawrence Bathgate, a past RNC finance chairman, said Steele has asked him for donations. Bathgate said he instead donated to the governors group and individual campaigns. "If my money will help some Republican get elected to the Senate or the House and if we can make some gains, that's better for my country than giving it to the RNC to see what they're going to do with it," Bathgate said.
The Republican Party must go after their detractors and not let them destroy the Party from the outside. Mike--raise money for the Congressional races. Sara--keep after Obama's socialist policies. Republicans--stay united and go after the anti-American policies of the Democrats.

Liberal Democrats are trying once again to give illegal aliens our American rights, just like the captured terrorists in our prison in Cuba. What is wrong with these liberal elected officials? Don't they understand our history, our rights under the Constitution, and our laws? We must fight these elected officials and stand up for our rights so they do not GIVE our rights to people who are not supposed to be in our country and cost us billions of dollars.
House Democrats Massive Amnesty Bill
Certain to Encounter Fierce Public Opposition, Predicts FAIR
December 15, 2009
(Washington, D.C) The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) described the introduction of the Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America's Security and Prosperity Act of 2009 (CIR ASAP) as wholesale sell-out of the interests of the American people. The bill being introduced today by Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) and over 90 Democrats is certain to meet fierce public opposition.
CIR ASAP would grant amnesty to virtually every illegal alien in the United States and vastly increase future flows of low-skilled, low-wage immigrants. The legislation focuses exclusively on satisfying the demands of illegal aliens, ethnic interest groups and cheap labor employers, while offering nothing that serves the interests of law-abiding Americans.
"At a time when some 25 million Americans are either unemployed or relegated to part-time work, the last thing the Democratic majority ought to be focused on is a massive amnesty and immigration expansion bill," said Dan Stein, president of FAIR. "Legalizing millions of low-skill, low-wage workers who would depend heavily on government services is simply bad immigration policy at any point in time. When the federal government is running a $1.4 trillion deficit, and numerous state and local governments are facing fiscal crises, it represents the epitome of irresponsibility."
In addition to granting amnesty to millions of immigration lawbreakers for the bargain basement price of $500, CIR ASAP would:
·Weaken immigration enforcement at the borders and in the interior of the country.
·Vastly expand the ability of illegal aliens to fight their removal from the U.S. (in many cases with U.S. taxpayers footing the bill).
·Preempt state laws that assist in immigration enforcement.
·Dramatically increase both employment-based and family-based immigration.
·Eliminate federal/local enforcement cooperation agreements.
"CIR ASAP offers nothing to law-abiding Americans, except more competition for scare jobs, higher taxes, and more government deficits," Stein said. "While American families are feeling the pain of this deep and protracted recession, Rep. Gutierrez, with the backing of the Democratic leadership and the White House, seems to be focused on political payoffs for a narrow group of amnesty obsessed constituencies.
"If congressional leaders were surprised by the intensity of public opposition to amnesty legislation in 2007, when unemployment hovered around 4.6 percent, they had better brace themselves for an even stronger reaction in 2010. CIR ASAP amounts to a fire sale on American citizenship and American jobs and the public will make its voice heard loudly again in 2010," predicted Stein.
