Israel--Not a Warrior Any More

It seems to me that the elected leaders are governing by world opinion and are not true warriors any more.  I served on the MFO Middle East Peace Force and know how well the Israeli military can fight and defend their country.  The leaders are going soft and are trying to "get-along", instead of being the tough military force they can be.  Look at the last conflict with Hamas and you realize that Israel has lost it's edge and confidence.

When known terrorists are exchange for murdered soldiers, it send the wrong message.  Israel should have delivered the jailed terrorists back to Hamas in a box, just like they received their soldiers.  Israel is getting to soft and unless they change their ways, will have new and more dangerous problems with Hamas and other terrorists in the Middle East.  It is time for Israel to get a "backbone", speak with authority, and carry a really big stick.

I encourage the Israeli government to wake up and protect their country.
