I have been saying for years that the only way to stop the illegal activity (drugs and human trafficking) on our southern border is to put our military on the border. Only the military can combat the drug lords and criminal gangs. The military must be given the power to use lethal force and to stop anyone coming across the border at the border, not 50 miles inside the US.
Congressman Ted Poe has introduced legislation requiring the Defense Department to make National Guard troops available to states on request due to an attack on a wife and husband on a Texas lake.
Rep. Ted Poe, in response to what he called the federal governments failure to answer the repeated requests of border state governors to protect the nation's international borders, has offered the National Guard Border Enforcement Act to ensure that border states "have the needed resources to protect their citizens from the ongoing border-related violence." The bill, endorsed by 20 other Republican members of the House, would authorize the secretary of defense to make 10,000 National Guard troops available on request from a U.S. governor. In addition, the troops would be paid for by the federal government and serve under the command of the requesting governor.
"The first duty of the federal government is to protect its people," Mr. Poe said. "Texans are tired of the federal governments failure to secure our borders and enforce our laws, yet at the same time running roughshod over state governments when they try to enforce the law and protect their citizens."
Currently, the Defense Department has allocated only 250 National Guard support troops for the entire 1,254-mile Texas-Mexico border and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has said Texas must pay for any additional troops to enforce existing federal immigration laws along the international border.
Rep. John Culberson, Texas Republican and one of the bill's co-sponsors, said the federal government is "directly responsible for enforcing existing laws to secure our borders and ensure the safe and legal movement of people, goods and commerce across our borders."
"Unfortunately, President Obama has failed in this effort, and it is now time for Congress to act," Mr. Culberson said. "There is a war on our southern border, and it is time to put an end to the horrific violence."
More than 28,000 people have been killed in Mexico's ongoing drug war, which U.S. authorities have said has spilled into the United States. In September, the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) posted signs along a major interstate highway in Arizona, warning travelers the area was unsafe because of drug and alien smugglers.
Pinal County, Ariz., Sheriff Paul Babeu, whose county lies at the center of major drug- and alien-smuggling routes to Phoenix and cities east and west, warned last month that Mexican drug cartels now control some parts of the state. "This is going on here in Arizona," he said. "This is 70 to 80 miles from the border — 30 miles from the fifth-largest city in the United States."
Under the National Guard Border Enforcement Act, troops will be authorized to conduct armed vehicle and foot patrols on the U.S. southern border; interdict vehicles, vessels, aircraft or other, similar activities; search, seize and detain suspects; construct roads, fences and vehicle barriers; conduct search-and-rescue operations; gather intelligence; conduct surveillance and reconnaissance; and rely on aviation support.
Mr. Poe, a former state judge and prosecutor, has been a longtime advocate of increased border security. Recently, he warned during a speech on the House floor that Americans were being targeted inside the United States, including fisherman on Falcon Lake in Zapata County, Texas, one of the best bass-fishing spots in the United States. The lake is part of the international boundary between Texas and Mexico. "That piece of paradise has been intruded on this month by the lawlessness seeping over from the Mexican border," he said, noting that in two separate incidents, U.S. fishermen were robbed at gunpoint on the lake by Mexican pirates, who held AR-15 rifles to their heads.
On Thursday, a McAllen, Texas, man was fatally shot after being ambushed by six Mexican pirates in two boats on Falcon Lake. Zapata County Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez identified the victim as David Michael Hartley, 30, who was riding with his wife on personal watercraft on the lake. Sheriff Gonzalez told reporters that Mr. Hartley's wife tried circling back to pull him from the water, but she was forced to retreat after being fired at by the gunmen.
The federal government must help states combat the Mexican invasion--not have the Department of Justice sue the states since it is a "federal responsibility". Big government --do your job.

We the people and tax payers must demand that Congress stop its wasteful ways and how it does business. Companies cannot run their business like Congress runs their part of the national government. Fundamentals must be changed on how Congress taxes, develops legislation, and passes bills. Also, we must demand the "perks" of being a member of Congress is very limited with term limits, no retirement, limited staff budgets, limited time in session, and accountability standards.
Congress must fundamentally rethink the way it spends taxpayer money, including getting rid of massive multi-agency spending bills and forcing lawmakers who want to add new government programs to first cut an existing one, House Minority Leader John A. Boehner said Thursday. All earmarks must be challenged and defended or should not be used at all. Congress should be rated on their job of national and border security, international diplomacy, fiscal integrity, passing mandatory spending bills, programs that are cut or reduced, and on limiting the federal government's role in our lives.
The inertia in Washington is currently to spend and spend and spend without any fiscal responsibility because Congress keeps voting to extend the nation's debt limit. Rules should be rewritten so each agency gets a thorough review every year, and the incentives are set up to cut, rather than expand, government. How many agencies spend money at the end of the fiscal year so they will not be cut the next year?
Republicans and Democrats alike have forgotten how to legislate and do their job according to our Constitution. Too many members of Congress think that to be successful they must create new programs and spend more money. Congress needs to get back to basics and do only the job they are authorized.
We do not want socialism, but a Republic where individuals are responsible for themselves, free enterprise without government control, and our God-given rights.

Below is an article written by Virginia's Lt Governor. He explains how to create jobs, not how to destroy jobs, like the Obama administration. Virginia is a Right to Work state, has good Public Private Partnership legislation, and is very business friendly.
Federal Policies Could Create Another Recession
By Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling
The Richmond Times-Dispatch, September 28, 2010
President Obama will be visiting Richmond tomorrow to talk about his plans to get America's economy moving again. If the president is really serious about creating jobs, he should start by abandoning the anti-business policies his administration has promoted over the past 18 months.
As Virginia's chief jobs creation officer, I have probably met with more CEOs over the past eight months than anyone in our state. Almost every CEO I have met with has told me the same thing -- they are ready to invest and they are ready to hire but they are afraid to do so because of the anti-business policies being promoted in Washington, D.C.
If someone had sat down 18 months ago and devised a plan to destroy American business, it would look much like the policies currently being promoted in Washington. I'm not suggesting that anyone has pursued these anti-business policies intentionally, but their effect is to create an anti-business environment that could drive our economy back into recession.
Washington's anti-business march started with the promotion of card check and cap-and-trade. Card check could result in the widespread unionization of American business, which would drive up costs and drive down profitability; while cap-and-trade would result in higher energy costs for businesses and families and make it difficult to produce energy through conventional sources like coal.
Washington's anti-business march continued to include the misguided federal health care reform bill, with significant mandates, fines, and penalties that penalize businesses for hiring; and a financial regulatory bill that has created an environment that could cause many of our financial institutions to look for locations outside the United States.
Now, the Obama administration and congressional Democrats appear willing to allow the federal tax cuts of 2001 and 2003 to expire, which will result in a $135 billion tax increase on families and businesses in 2011. If we raise taxes in the midst of the worst economic decline in 60 years, we will most certainly pay a heavy price for doing so.
The anti-business decisions coming out of Washington include many other misguided policies that have the effect of discouraging investment and hiring -- and damping consumer confidence.
For example, out-of-control government spending and debt threatens the financial foundation of our country. This year, our federal deficit will exceed $1.4 trillion dollars and the total national debt will exceed $14 trillion dollars. No one would have predicted this just a few years ago.
This out-of-control spending and debt is unsustainable, and it will inevitably lead to inflation and a further devaluation of our nation's monetary system.
Don't think for a minute that the United States couldn't find itself in the same financial situation as Greece did earlier this year. The federal government is also increasingly interjecting itself into areas that have traditionally been reserved for the private sector.
In the past 18 months, we have seen unprecedented federal intrusion into the auto industry, the banking industry, the health care industry, student loan programs, and more. Instead of promoting policies that grow the government, we should be promoting policies that empower the private sector and unleash the entrepreneurial spirit of America.
And finally, the viability of American business is being threatened by the overreaching regulatory policies of the Environmental Protection Agency.
Current EPA policies are adversely impacting the viability of the coal industry, the nuclear industry, agriculture, residential and commercial development, and any industrial or manufacturing business that discharges into the air or water. If left unchecked, these overreaching EPA policies could have a devastating impact on American business and industry for decades to come.
Against this onslaught of anti-business policies and actions, is it any wonder that American business is afraid to invest, that consumer confidence is at an all-time low, and declines in the stock market have wiped out billions in investor assets?
If we are really serious about getting our economy moving again and creating jobs, we must abandon these anti-business policies in lieu of policies that will encourage investment and hiring; and we must get federal spending and debt under control.
Economic growth can be stimulated by promoting lower taxes, not higher taxes; less regulation, not more regulation; and recommitting ourselves to the apparently outdated notion that it is the private sector that creates jobs and economic prosperity, not the government!

We attended the burial of Senator Ted Stevens at Arlington National Cemetery and a Memorial Concert at the Kennedy Center. Our hearts and prayers are with his family. He had an outstanding military burial with a fly-over.
Senator Stevens was a true American hero--a war veteran to a United States Senator. He always had the nation and the American people in his thoughts and deeds. He helped bring Alaska into statehood, introduced legislation giving women equal rights in sports, introduced legislation for the US Olympic Committee, and helped Alaska with federal funding for the military and local programs. Also, Senator Stevens was a great supporter of the arts and music.
Senator Stevens was a man who showed common sense while crafting legislation for our nation's security and budgets. Some of his best friends were Democrats and he reached across the isle many times for the benefit of our nation. We will miss Senator Stevens--he was one of a kind and a true American hero.

Stop big government, stop more taxes, stop Progressives (liberals), stop Obamacare, stop Cap & Trade, and stop destroying American values and individual rights. Support the Tea Party movement and candidates.
We all need to support individual candidates, not large political organizations who are fighting for us--like the candidates in DE, AK, NE, AZ and other states. The Tea Party movement is a grassroots effort to tell our elected officials that "We are mad as hell and we will not take it any longer". The GOP's congressional campaign committees must provide financial and political muscle behind "tea party" candidates who knocked off some of their hand-picked Republicans in the primaries.
They've cut checks, sunk millions of dollars into campaign advertisements and reserved additional airtime in likely battlegrounds across the country on behalf of tea-party-backed winners.
Now, the Republican Party must decide which candidates to support and target their races.
"It's on a case-by-case basis," said Ron Bonjean, a Republican strategist. "They put money into places that they can win." By most accounts, the task got more complicated after two tea party candidates - Christine O'Donnell of Delaware and Joe Miller of Alaska - beat more moderate Republicans, Rep. Mike Castle and Sen. Lisa Murkowski, respectively, who were considered Election Day shoo-ins. We wupport both of these candidates.
"If you listen to many folks, they would tell you Delaware became a challenge when Castle didn't win the nomination," Mr. Madden said. "But I think it's harder to make the argument that the chance to take back the Senate majority rests just on that state when you have ample opportunities in places like Connecticut, West Virginia and Wisconsin that at the beginning of the [election] cycle did not present themselves."
With insurgent tea party candidates defeating so many incumbents or candidates handpicked by party leaders, some analysts wondered how willing the party would be to back them. Republican candidates who lost must be humble and accept their defeat and support the Republican who won the Primary. If not, then the candidate will have a harder time in their races against the Democrats.
So far, the National Republican Senatorial Committee has cut $42,600 checks to seven of the eight tea party candidates, the maximum allowed under federal law. The NRSC also has pumped millions of additional dollars into campaigns for television advertisements and committed millions more in airtime for some of the candidates that Democrats consider the GOP's most vulnerable.
Republicans who lost, get out of the way since the election was not about you, but our nation. Support the Republicans who won fair and square---not through Democrat cheating and stuffing the ballot box.

From the campaign trail to the White House, Obama has been after "our money" to push all of his socialist ideas and policies. He has used our money to fund bailouts of banks, private companies, unions, organizations helping illegal immigrants, and big government. There is a new film that you must see that reveals his plan.
Taking aim at the Obama administrations economic record, a new documentary is looking to ride a wave of government resentment to the unusual heights of blockbuster status.
The makers of "I Want Your Money," which uses animation plus interviews with conservative-leaning pundits, know their core audience--the American taxpayer. They have tapped one of the few marketing companies with experience in attracting conservative-leaning voters to movies. Motive Entertainment worked on "The Passion of the Christ" and "Expelled," films that exceeded box office expectations.
"Its all about connecting with the core motivation and value of the taxpayers who value our Constitution," said Paul Lauer, CEO and founder of Motive Entertainment. For "The Passion of the Christ," that meant reaching out to faith-based groups. "I Want Your Money" is seeking out other targets - conservative talk-show hosts and "tea party" affiliates.
The YouTube trailer for the film, which opens Oct. 15, has been viewed more than 2.5 million times. The movie's stinging rebuke of President Obama's stewardship of the nation's foundering economy has another arrow in its marketing quiver - the film's narrator and driving force, director Ray Griggs.
The documentary will succeed or fail based on its entertainment value, not partisan finger-pointing, said Eddie Schmidt, president of the International Documentary Association and an Academy Award-nominated documentary filmmaker ("Twist of Faith" and "This Film Is Not Yet Rated").
Documentary films rarely take in more than a few million dollars at the box office and sometimes fail to make a fraction of that amount. "Fahrenheit 9/11" made $119 million during its 2004 theatrical run, a figure more akin to a superhero sequel than a cinematic commentary. However, the media and even schools hyped the film so many people went to the movies to see it and we now know that much of the film was a "lie".
Since this film is not dependent upon the media, it will be successful with the average American citizen who is worried about Obama's socialism and the disdain that he has for American values, self-reliance, fewer taxes, and less government. We all need to see this film. Also, vote in November...kick the bums out.

Congrats to the Americans who "will not take it any more". Many of us are tired of "career politicians" who think they are entitled to a life time job in Congress. The sleeping giant, American citizens who are tired of the elites, is now awake and mad as hell. We want to throw out all of the "BUMS" who vote for liberal causes such as Obamacare, TARO, Cap and Trade, and put our nation at risk with the debt.
The "tea party" and conservative Americans partied last big night because the establishmnet-both Democrat and Republican Parties hear our anger. We are tired of the liberal socialist elected officials throwing away our future. Good bye to mike Castle. Look out Senators Snowe and Collins. If it was not for the vote of Senator Snowe who is a Republican in name only, we would not have Obamacare.
In one of the most stunning results of the midterm season, marketing consultant Christine O'Donnell, backed with endorsements from tea party activists and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, became the latest "outsider" candidate to knock off an establishment-backed Republican by defeating Rep. Michael N. Castle in Delaware's Senate primary.
We as American tax paying citizens are tired of members of Congress lying and stealing, yet get to keep their job. An example is York City, scandal-tarred Democratic veteran Rep. Charles B. Rangel who was reelected. How stupid are the voters in Harlem who return a crook to Congress.
In yet another tea party-engineered upset, businessman Carl Paladino was declared the winner over former GOPRep. Rick Lazio in New York's gubernatorial primary, and will take on Democratic state Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo. Even liberal New York is tired of liberal spending socialists and Obama.
"The common-sense men and women of Delaware are tired of the 'same old' coming out of Washington. They don't want more of the same," Ms. O'Donnell told a crowd of exhilarated supporters. "Well, we are not more of the same."
Her win follows an almost equally unforeseen victory last month for tea party favorite Joe Miller in the Alaska Senate primary, ousting GOP incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski, who has not yet ruled out a write-in bid. Mr. Castle, a nine-term House member and former governor who was re-elected two years ago with 61 percent of the vote, was considered a heavy favorite to win the GOP primary for the seat formerly held by Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.
We must keep up the pressure on elected officials and get the voters to the polls. We have to restore common sense, fiscal responsibility, limited government, and have elected officials do their job for the nation, not for themselves or special interest groups. We must have term limits, no retirement for members of Congress, and a flat tax so they cannot screw the tax payers.

Take responsibility for your economic actions and your failed business policies. Your ivy college appointees know nothing of the real world and how business works. Admit that you do not know what you do not know.
In your press conference today, you draw a sharp line with congressional Republicans on economic policy and the fate of expiring tax cuts passed under predecessor President George W. Bush. The first thing that Bush did when he was elected was to cut taxes and he had great economic growth during his entire time in office. It was the failed policies of the Democrats at Freddie and Fannie that caused the economic meltdown--banks forced to loan money to people who could not pay their mortgages.
Mr. Obama said he remained strongly opposed to extending tax cuts for wealthy taxpayers when they expire at the end of the year, saying only individuals earning under $250,000 should be given tax relief. With his recent passing of the health care and financial bills, he has raised taxes on everyone.
Republicans have pushed for all the tax cuts to be extended — at least temporarily — and a number of moderate Democrats have broken with Mr. Obama on the issue. GOP leaders say that raising taxes would be the wrong policy as the economy continues to struggle and unemployment is just under 10 percent.
But the president said the political standoff risked saddling middle-class taxpayers with a higher tax burden next year, and urged Republicans to compromise. "Why hold the middle class hostage in order to do something most economists think doesn't make sense?" Mr. Obama told reporters.
Cut spending instead of more spending plans for the unions. Mr. Obama--you are a failed president and are not well versed in economic policy, let alone how to be a leader. Keep reading your messages---nobody is listening nor do they believe anything you say.
We need adults in the White House and in the administration running our country.

Well, someone figured out why Obama nominated Elana Kagan for the Supreme Court....
Pull up the Supreme Courts website, go to the docket and search for Obama. Kagan was the Solicitor General for all the suits against him filed with the Supreme Court to show proof of natural born citizenship. He owed her big time. All of the requests were denied of course. They were never heard. It just keeps getting deeper and deeper, doesn't it? The American people mean nothing any longer. It's all about payback time for those that compromised themselves to elect someone that really has no true right to even be there. We should be getting so sick of all of this nonsense.
Also, recently, a military judge ruled that the evidence of Obama's eligibility to hold office could be an embarrassment to the President and therefore will not be allowed in her court. This is in response that a LTC said that he would not follow Obama's orders as President since he was not born in the US and not legally holding the office.

Maryland's political future is based on the voters of Montgomery County. Bob Ehrlich has correctly decided that if he wins or comes close to winning in Montgomery County, he will be Governor again. Maryland's future is based on three voting blocks---Baltimore City, Prince Georges County and Montgomery County. It is impossible for a Republican to win in Baltimore or Prince Georges due to the Democrat lock on the black vote. However, a Republican can win Montgomery County due to the diverse number of business owners and highly paid citizens of the county who can decide on issues and not just party.
The unions and the Democrat Party know that Ehrlich can win Montgomery County so they will focus their efforts in this battle ground county. Firefighters from Baltimore and Prince George's County have been pouring money into Montgomery County council races, adding last-minute support to local union brothers who lost out on large raises this year because of Montgomery's budget squeeze.
Council members Marc Elrich and George Leventhal, both at-large Democrats running for reelection, received the same contributions from firefighter political action committees from outside Montgomery: $2,500 from the Baltimore County firefighters, $2,500 from the Baltimore City firefighters, and $3,000 from Prince George's firefighters. O'Malley will have the unions spend large amounts of money in Montgomery County in October up to the election. Unions will be out in force across the county.
Organizers of the PACs said they wanted to support labor-friendly candidates, wherever they are based. Montgomery firefighters -- who made large contributions to those two candidates as well as others -- told their fellow unions whom to support, labor leaders said. This means that these candidates and the unions are NOT business friendly, but want to focus on government jobs and pro-union policies.
"It's part of the MO of firefighters. We support those who support us, period," said Michael Day, president of the Baltimore County Professional Firefighters Association PAC.
Many people in Montgomery say tapping the outside firefighter funds takes advantage of a loophole and undermines state contribution limits. "It's a way to evade the limit on PAC contributions of $6,000," said Council member Phil Andrews (D-Gaithersburg-Rockville), who called the contributions "troubling."
"It sounds like sour grapes to me," said John Sparks, president of Montgomery's local firefighters union. "We're not breaking any laws. We're reaching out to all fellow AFL-CIO unions and firefighter unions throughout the state to encourage them to contribute to firefighter-friendly candidates." Ross Goldstein, deputy administrator of the Maryland Board of Elections, said the contributions are permissible under state law.
The unions want protection and understand that they do not want a Republican governor. "There will be a big push from the public employee unions for pay raises, and tax increases, if necessary, to pay for them," Andrews said. "This is an effort to elect candidates that are most likely to support that if necessary."
Voters in Montgomery County must vote on the issues and must decide if they want more Obamacare, more Obamataxes, and more government. We must change the direction of the state.

Below is a very good article on the attitude of the current occupant of the White House. Hopefully in two years he will not be the people's house.
What American President Would Do That?
By Carol A. Taber
Other presidents have been wrong. Other presidents have been misguided. Other presidents have been weak and pusillanimous and pathetic.
Only one truly disdains America. His name is Barack Obama.
How else to explain his latest outrage against the country that elevated him to the ranks of world leadership? Last week, the Obama State Department submitted a report to the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights on the supposed human rights violations taking place in the United States. According to the Washington Times, the report describes how the United States discriminates against the disabled, homosexuals, women, Native Americans, blacks, Hispanics and those who don't speak English. There is the expected pandering to Muslims...the report notes that until recently, the U.S. engaged in torture, unlawfully detained terrorist suspects and illegally spied on Americans communicating with terrorists ... but the report assures readers that Mr. Obama has been putting a stop to all that.
Beyond the outrage felt by Governor Jan Brewer, whose move to protect Arizonans' human rights was offered up as an example of an abuse of human rights by Mr. Obama's State Department report (gotta protect those drug cartel murderers!), for many citizens, this report is a rank anti-American manifesto and the last straw. Many believe it to be outright evil, that there is no other word to encompass Obama's disgraceful and indefensible decision. This odious report has placed America -- us -- on a list of human rights violators that includes Iran, North Korea, and Sudan. And Mr. Obama and his administration have done it purposefully, intentionally, and with malice aforethought.
The truth, on the other hand, is that every demographic group mentioned in the report as victimized by America is better off in America than in any other country on earth. That's why they stay here. If they don't like America, they're free to leave at any time. We're not the Soviet Union or China, restricting population flow. European glories are only a plane ticket away.
But they don't leave. That's because the people of America have a higher standard of living, more opportunity for high-quality health care (at least for a little while longer), a better shot at a decent education, and more personal freedom to pursue occupations of their choice -- and life, liberty, and happiness -- than in any other place on the planet.
But according to Obama, splinter groups of Americans (including women, who compose a majority of the population) are hapless and defenseless victims of our "downright mean" country, a description coined by Mrs. Obama during Mr. Obama's campaign for president. The State Department report is a typical liberal look-at-America-through-a-toilet-seat perspective, construing every minor problem as systemic and considering all forms of law enforcement discriminatory. The report is unseemly and deeply offensive to the American people.
Worse, it's not just Obama and his thumb-sucking minions whining about America to other Americans -- at least that wouldn't be purveying false notions about America outside our borders. No, lying to Americans about the cruelty of their country isn't enough for Obama -- he must preach it to the world. Because in Obama's worldview, the world is the ultimate arbiter of America, even though that quaint document, our Constitution, specifically grants such responsibility to the American people alone.
It's nonsensical from a legal point of view, and Obama's a lawyer. One of the chief notions in legal academia is that a judge's political perspective shapes his decisions no matter how hard he attempts to be objective. The same holds true for countries -- Iran will judge us through the Iranian anti-Semitic, anti-American, anti-freedom, fundamentalist Islamic perspective it uses for everything else. Yet Obama inexplicably sees the judgment of countries like Iran as important and wants to lay bare before the world each of our minute flaws -- some real, some imagined -- for careful examination and exploitation by our most implacable enemies, with much of that exploitation dangerous to our national security and to ordinary Americans.
Perhaps it's because Obama has spent most of his life in a Christian country that he doesn't understand how the world works -- over here, we don't cast the first stone. Instead, we target the most egregious human rights violators and try to curb their violations. Maybe Obama thinks the rest of the world will act in truly Christian fashion, too, and focus on the true human rights violators even if we expose ourselves to the tyrants, dictators, and mullahs. That would make him an idiot.
More likely, Obama just doesn't give a tinker's damn whether the world flays us because he thinks America's minor flaws are major ones. It is possible that Obama dislikes America because this is the country that produced his rootless life and gave leeway to his drunk, child-abandoning Kenyan father. More likely, Obama is displeased with this country because he spent his childhood wandering from identity to identity until he found one that justified his alienation -- identity as a Marxist racialist -- an elevated identity in the left's hierarchy of the victimized.
Whatever the reason, Obama has no soft spot for America. The unpresidential condescension he feels for our country and its religion- and gun-clinging citizens oozes from his pores and spills out of them in unguarded moments. And that disrespect -- the kind that comes only from those who are clueless about leadership -- gives both aid and comfort to our enemies and leaves those who wish to share in the bounty of our freedom and liberty in the dark.

Congrats to Glenn Beck and the thousands of loyal American citizens who attended or watched the "march on Washington". We need loyal Americans to stand up to the Obama liberals and the ACLU type organizations who want to "dumb-down" American values of personal responsibility, hard work, faith, saying the Pledge of Alligance, and limited federal government. It is time for American citizens to REVOLT against the liberal left and socialists and take back our country. We are fed up with Obama and his liberal left supporters--especially the liberal media who prompt him up.
We must vote out all Democrats who have hijacked their party as a mouth piece for the ultra left and bunch of Anti-Americans. We need God in our lives and limit the stay of professional politicians in Congress.
Conservative commentator Glenn Beck and tea party champion Sarah Palin appealed Saturday to a vast crowd on the National Mall to help restore traditional American values and honor Martin Luther King's message. Civil rights leaders who accused the group of hijacking King's legacy held their own rally and march.
While Beck billed his event as nonpolitical, activists from around the nation said their show of strength was a clear sign that they can make a difference in the country's future and that they want a government that will listen and unite.
Palin told the hundreds of thousands who stretched from the marble steps of the Lincoln Memorial to the grass of the Washington Monument that calls to transform the country weren't enough. "We must restore America and restore her honor," said the former Alaska governor, echoing the name of the rally, "Restoring Honor."
Palin, the GOP vice presidential nominee in 2008 and a potential White House contender in 2012, and Beck repeatedly cited King and made references to the Founding Fathers. Beck put a heavy religious cast on nearly all his remarks, sounding at times like an evangelical preacher.
"Something beyond imagination is happening," he said. "America today begins to turn back to God."
Beck exhorted the crowd to "recognize your place to the creator. Realize that he is our king. He is the one who guides and directs our life and protects us." He asked his audience to pray more. "I ask, not only if you would pray on your knees, but pray on your knees but with your door open for your children to see," he said.
A group of civil rights activists organized by the Rev. Al Sharpton held a counter rally at a high school, then embarked on a three-mile march to the site of a planned monument honoring King. The site, bordering the Tidal Basin, was not far from the Lincoln Memorial where Beck and the others spoke about two hours earlier. Sharpton is the nation's number 2 race-baiter, right behind Jesse Jackson.

The Obama administration says that it has secured our southern border and Arizona is a racist state since it wants to crack down on illegals. Obama's Justice Department has sued the Governor of Arizona for doing her elected job of protecting the citizens of her state. Obama's State Department has reportred Arizona to the United Nations as an example of how Obama is targeting one of the proud US 50 states on human rights violations...go figure.
Now, the federal government has posted signs along a major interstate highway in Arizona, more than 100 miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border, warning travelers the area is unsafe because of drug and alien smugglers, and a local sheriff says Mexican drug cartels now control some parts of the state.
The signs were posted by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) along a 60-mile stretch of Interstate 8 between Casa Grande and Gila Bend, a major east-west corridor linking Tucson and Phoenix with San Diego. I guess that the Obama's Chief of Staff and Justice Department did not send a memo to the BLM saying that all illegals are just law abiding folks who are seeking honest employment.
They warn travelers that they are entering an "active drug and human smuggling area" and they may encounter "armed criminals and smuggling vehicles traveling at high rates of speed." Beginning less than 50 miles south of Phoenix, the signs encourage travelers to "use public lands north of Interstate 8" and to call 911 if they "see suspicious activity."
Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, whose county lies at the center of major drug and alien smuggling routes to Phoenix and cities east and west, attests to the violence. He said his deputies are outmanned and outgunned by drug traffickers in the rough-hewn desert stretches of his own county.
"Mexican drug cartels literally do control parts of Arizona," he said. "They literally have scouts on the high points in the mountains and in the hills and they literally control movement. They have radios, they have optics, they have night-vision goggles as good as anything law enforcement has.
"This is going on here in Arizona," he said. "This is 70 to 80 miles from the border - 30 miles from the fifth-largest city in the United States." He said he asked the Obama administration for 3,000 National Guard soldiers to patrol the border, but what he got were 15 signs.
Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer condemned what she called the federal government's "continued failure to secure our international border," saying the lack of security has resulted in important natural recreational areas in her state being declared too dangerous to visit.
In a recent campaign video posted to YouTube, Mrs. Brewer - standing in front of one of the BLM signs - attacked the administration over the signs, calling them "an outrage" and telling President Obama to "Do your job. Secure our borders."
BLM spokesman Dennis Godfrey in Arizona said agency officials were surprised by the reaction the signs generated when they were put up this summer. No kidding---drug criminals in control of portions of AZ....

Read my lips---noone making less than $250,000 will pay more taxes. The below new taxes will tax every American citizen. Is it the "No Tax Obama Plan"?
In just six months, the largest tax hikes in the history of America will take effect. They will hit families and small businesses in three great waves on January 1, 2011:
First Wave: Expiration of 2001 and 2003 Tax Relief
In 2001 and 2003, the GOP Congress enacted several tax cuts for investors, small business owners, and families. These will all expire on January 1, 2011:
Personal income tax rates will rise. The top income tax rate will rise from 35 to 39.6 percent (this is also the rate at which two-thirds of small business profits are taxed). The lowest rate will rise from 10 to 15 percent. All the rates in between will also rise. Itemized deductions and personal exemptions will again phase out, which has the same mathematical effect as higher marginal tax rates. The full list of marginal rate hikes is below:
- The 10% bracket rises to an expanded 15%
- The 25% bracket rises to 28%
- The 28% bracket rises to 31%
- The 33% bracket rises to 36%
- The 35% bracket rises to 39.6%
Higher taxes on marriage and family. The "marriage penalty" (narrower tax brackets for married couples) will return from the first dollar of income. The child tax credit will be cut in half from $1000 to $500 per child. The standard deduction will no longer be doubled for married couples relative to the single level. The dependent care and adoption tax credits will be cut.
The return of the Death Tax. This year, there is no death tax. For those dying on or after January 1 2011, there is a 55 percent top death tax rate on estates over $1 million. A person leaving behind two homes and a retirement account could easily pass along a death tax bill to their loved ones.
Higher tax rates on savers and investors. The capital gains tax will rise from 15 percent this year to 20 percent in 2011. The dividends tax will rise from 15 percent this year to 39.6 percent in 2011. These rates will rise another 3.8 percent in 2013.
Second Wave: Obamacare
There are over twenty new or higher taxes in Obamacare. Several will first go into effect on January 1, 2011. Now senior citizens are at riak of losing their AARP health plans. They include:
The "Medicine Cabinet Tax" Thanks to Obamacare, Americans will no longer be able to use health savings account (HSA), flexible spending account (FSA), or health reimbursement (HRA) pre-tax dollars to purchase non-prescription, over-the-counter medicines (except insulin).
The "Special Needs Kids Tax" This provision of Obamacare imposes a cap on flexible spending accounts (FSAs) of $2500 (Currently, there is no federal government limit). There is one group of FSA owners for whom this new cap will be particularly cruel and onerous: parents of special needs children. There are thousands of families with special needs children in the United States, and many of them use FSAs to pay for special needs education. Tuition rates at one leading school that teaches special needs children in Washington, D.C. (National Child Research Center) can easily exceed $14,000 per year. Under tax rules, FSA dollars can be used to pay for this type of special needs education.
The HSA Withdrawal Tax Hike. This provision of Obamacare increases the additional tax on non-medical early withdrawals from an HSA from 10 to 20 percent, disadvantaging them relative to IRAs and other tax-advantaged accounts, which remain at 10 percent.
All real estate transactions will be taxed at a 3.5% rate to help pay for health care and seniors will have to terminate their current AARP plans.
Third Wave: The Alternative Minimum Tax and Employer Tax Hikes
When Americans prepare to file their tax returns in January of 2011, they'll be in for a nasty surprise-the AMT won't be held harmless, and many tax relief provisions will have expired. The major items include:
The AMT will ensnare over 28 million families, up from 4 million last year. According to the left-leaning Tax Policy Center, Congress' failure to index the AMT will lead to an explosion of AMT taxpaying families-rising from 4 million last year to 28.5 million. These families will have to calculate their tax burdens twice, and pay taxes at the higher level. The AMT was created in 1969 to ensnare a handful of taxpayers.
Small business expensing will be slashed and 50% expensing will disappear. Small businesses can normally expense (rather than slowly-deduct, or "depreciate") equipment purchases up to $250,000. This will be cut all the way down to $25,000. Larger businesses can expense half of their purchases of equipment. In January of 2011, all of it will have to be "depreciated."
Taxes will be raised on all types of businesses. There are literally scores of tax hikes on business that will take place. The biggest is the loss of the "research and experimentation tax credit," but there are many, many others. Combining high marginal tax rates with the loss of this tax relief will cost jobs.
Tax Benefits for Education and Teaching Reduced. The deduction for tuition and fees will not be available. Tax credits for education will be limited. Teachers will no longer be able to deduct classroom expenses. Coverdell Education Savings Accounts will be cut. Employer-provided educational assistance is curtailed. The student loan interest deduction will be disallowed for hundreds of thousands of families.
Charitable Contributions from IRAs no longer allowed. Under current law, a retired person with an IRA can contribute up to $100,000 per year directly to a charity from their IRA. This contribution also counts toward an annual "required minimum distribution." This ability will no longer be there.
The government wants to stop individual donations so the government can do it all and provide everything to everyone. Obama and the liberal left want the government to run every aspect of our lives. This gives the former President Bush's statement about taxes (Read My Lips)----a whole new meaning.

Why did the voters of AZ return John McCain to the US Senate? Don't they know that he radically changed his position on illegal immigration just for the Primary election?
What is any good conservative and Tea Party patriot to think about Arizona voters after they have just returned John McCain to office? This is the state that leads the country with immigration enforcement efforts and then turns around and sends a pro-amnesty senator back to D.C. Do conservatives still want the status quo? Excuse me if I am confused about this election.
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) spent more than $20 million on his way to victory over primary rival J.D. Hayworth (R). McCain captured 59 percent of the vote Tuesday to 29 for Hayworth. Navy veteran Jim Deakin took 11 percent. Arizona voters fight illegal immigration by supporting Gov. Brewer and their legislature's ground breaking law on the one hand, but on the other they return the biggest amnesty seeking senator to DC. What are they thinking? Are the voters stupid or what?
To shore up his right flank, McCain drifted away from some of the issues he championed years ago. He gave a muted response to the recent Supreme Court decision that lifted restrictions he helped pass on campaign spending. He also stopped pushing for immigration reform and instead touted his support for increased security along the border -- including a fence he once opposed. Did he flip-flop? Will he go back to his old habits?
Once John McCain is re-elected to the US Senate, the voters of AZ will discover that he is like Obama--say one thing to get elected and then do the opposite. Sorry JD...I hope you run again and represent the citizens of AZ on all of their priority issues. Again, this election is a reason for term limits.

Obama is using the US court system to stick it to the American people and the rule of law. Mr. Obama's aunt who is in the United States illegally has been granted asylum, even after she was in public housing on the tax payer's dime as an illegal alien. I have been to Kenya and they do not kill or imprison people who disagree with the government. Obama has relatives who live in Kenya. Why do the court hold a "closed hearing" on this matter so the public could not see the liberal left court system in action?
Please read this Associated Press article where the Kenya government officials objected to the US court ruling because it is simply not true and the court fabricated these issues to keep his aunt in the country. The American tax payer and the justice system are being made fools of by Obama and his administration.
NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) — Kenya's government is unhappy with the impression created by a U.S. court ruling that granted asylum to President Obama's aunt for saying she could be targeted by members of Kenya's government if deported, an official said Friday.
Government spokesman Alfred Mutua described the case of Zeituni Onyango as an embarrassment and said the allegations made against Kenya were untrue and unrealistic.
"It has become a habit for Kenyans seeking asylum in other countries to lie. Her case is an embarrassment to this country and President Obama," Mr. Mutua said. "We are not looking for her. The government does not have any problem with Zeituni Onyango."
Earlier this week, U.S. Immigration Judge Leonard Shapiro said he gave Ms. Onyango asylum in the U.S. because she would be a target in Kenya not only for those who oppose the United States and Obama but for members of the Kenyan government.
Ms. Onyango is the half sister of Mr. Obama's late father and has been living in public housing in Boston.
Judge Shapiro granted Ms. Onyango asylum in May after her case was heard during a closed trial. His written decision was released this week through the Freedom of Information Act.
Ms. Onyango helped care for the president's half brothers and sister while living with Barack Obama Sr. in Kenya. She moved to the United States in 2000 and applied for asylum in 2002, but her request was rejected and she was ordered deported in 2004.
The basis for Ms. Onyango's asylum request was never made public, but her lawyer Margaret Wong said in 2008 that Ms. Onyango first applied for asylum "due to violence in Kenya."
People who seek asylum must show that they face persecution in their homeland on the basis of religion, race, nationality, political opinion or membership in a social group.
Many of Mr. Obama's relatives live peacefully in Kenya, including his grandmother, who is a celebrity here. The government connected Sarah Obama's home to the national power grid and made the road leading to her village more passable since Mr. Obama's election win.
Go figure---this is why Obama is seen as a light-weight when it comes to enforcing the law and our borders.

From The London Daily Telegraph Editor On Foreign Relations
"Let me be clear: I'm not normally in favour of boycotts, and I love the American people. I holiday in their country regularly, and hate the tedious snobby sneers against the United States. But the American people chose to elect an idiot who seems hell bent on insulting their allies, and something must be done to stop Obama's reckless foreign policy, before he does the dirty on his allies on every issue."
One of the most poorly kept secrets in Washington is President Obama's animosity toward Great Britain, presumably because of what he regards as its sins while ruling Kenya (1895-1963).
One of Barack Hussein Obama's first acts as president was to return to Britain a bust of Winston Churchill that had graced the Oval Office since 9/11. He followed this up by denying Prime Minister Gordon Brown, on his first state visit, the usual joint press conference with flags.
The president was "too tired" to grant the leader of America's closest ally a proper welcome, his aides told British journalists.
Mr. Obama followed this up with cheesy gifts for Mr. Brown and the Queen. Columnist Ian Martin described his behavior as "rudeness personified." There was more rudeness in store for Mr. Brown at the opening session of the United Nations in September. "The prime minister was forced to dash through the kitchens of the UN in New York to secure five minutes of face time with President Obama after five requests for a sit down meeting were rejected by the White House," said London Telegraph columnist David Hughes. Mr. Obama's "churlishness is unforgivable," Mr. Hughes said.
The administration went beyond snubs and slights last week when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton endorsed the demand of Argentine President Cristina Kirchner, a Hugo Chavez ally, for mediation of Argentina's specious claim to the Falkland Islands, a British dependency since 1833. The people who live in the Falklands, who speak English, want nothing to do with Argentina. When, in 1982, an earlier Argentine dictatorship tried to seize the Falklands by force, the British -- with strong support from President Ronald Reagan -- expelled them.
"It is truly shocking that Barack Obama has decided to disregard our shared history," wrote Telegraph columnist Toby Young. "Does Britain's friendship really mean so little to him?" One could ask, does the friendship of anyone in the entire world mean anything to him?
"I recently asked several senior administration officials, separately, to name a foreign leader with whom Barack Obama has forged a strong personal relationship during his first year in office," wrote Jackson Diehl, deputy editorial page editor of the Washington Post, on Monday. "A lot of hemming and hawing ensued." One official named French President Nicolas Sarkozy, but his contempt for Mr. Obama is an open secret. Another named German Chancellor Angela Merkel. But, said Mr. Diehl, "Merkel too has been conspicuously cool toward Obama."
Mr. Obama certainly doesn't care about the Poles and Czechs, whom he has betrayed on missile defense. Honduras and Israel also can attest that he's been an unreliable ally and an unfaithful friend. Ironically, our relations with both Israel and the Palestinian Authority have never been worse. Russia has offered nothing in exchange for Mr. Obama's abandonment of missile defense. Russia and China won't support serious sanctions on Iran. Syria's support for terrorism has not diminished despite efforts to normalize diplomatic relations. The reclusive military dictatorship that runs Burma has responded to our efforts at "engagement" by deepening its ties to North Korea.
And the Chinese make little effort to disguise their contempt for him. With his support of the mosque in NYC, Obama has lost the goodwill of New Yorkers and the families of the dead from 9-11.
For the first time in a long time, the President of the United States is actually distrusted by its allies and not in the least feared by its adversaries. Nor is Mr. Obama now respected by the majority of Americans.
Understandably focused on the dismal economy and Mr. Obama's relentless efforts to nationalize and socialize health care, Americans apparently have yet to notice his dismal performance and lack of respect in the world community. They soon will. We told you who Obama is, but you would not listen....

Below are the reasons to vote Against Obama and the Democrats and even liberal Republicans....
The American people elected an inexperienced and liberal socialist as President and now are realizing just how bad he is as a NON-leader for the American people. Can it get any worse for President Obama? Undoubtedly yes. Here are 10 key reasons why the Obama presidency is in serious trouble, and why its prospects are unlikely to improve between now and the November mid-terms.
We must vote in November to remove the liberals from Congress and start a "RE-DO" of all of the new policies and laws instituted by Obama and his liberal left friends.
1. The Obama presidency is out of touch with the American people
In a previous post I noted how the Obama presidency increasingly resembles a modern-day Ancien Régime, extravagant, decaying and out of touch with ordinary Americans. The First Lady’s ill-conceived trip to Spain at a time of widespread economic hardship was symbolic of a White House that barely gives a second thought to public opinion on many issues, and frequently projects a distinctly elitist image. The “let them eat cake” approach didn’t play well over two centuries ago, and it won’t succeed today.
2. Most Americans don’t have confidence in the president’s leadership
This deficit of trust in Obama’s leadership is central to his decline. According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll, “nearly six in ten voters say they lack faith in the president to make the right decisions for the country”, and two thirds “say they are disillusioned with or angry about the way the federal government is working.” The poll showed that a staggering 58 per cent of Americans say they do not have confidence in the president’s decision-making, with just 42 per cent saying they do.
3. Obama fails to inspire
In contrast to the soaring rhetoric of his 2006 Convention speech in Chicago which succeeded in impressing millions of television viewers at the time, America is no longer inspired by Barack Obama’s flat, monotonous and often dull presidential speeches and statements delivered via teleprompter. From his extraordinarily uninspiring Afghanistan speech at West Point to his flat State of the Union address, President Obama has failed to touch the heart of America . Even Jimmy Carter was more moving.
4. The United States is drowning in debt
The Congressional Budget Office Long-Term Budget Outlook offers a frightening picture of the scale of America ’s national debt. Under its alternative fiscal scenario, the CBO projects that US debt could rise to 87 percent of GDP by 2020, 109 percent by 2025, and 185 percent in 2035. While much of Europe, led by Britain and Germany , are aggressively cutting their deficits, the Obama administration is actively growing America ’s debt, and has no plan in place to avert a looming Greek-style financial crisis.
5. Obama’s Big Government message is falling flat
The relentless emphasis on bailouts and stimulus spending has done little to spur economic growth or create jobs, but has greatly advanced the power of the federal government in America . This is not an approach that is proving popular with the American public, and even most European governments have long ditched this tax and spend approach to saving their own economies.
6. Obama’s support for socialized health care is a huge political mistake
In an extraordinary act of political Harakiri, President Obama leant his full support to the hugely controversial, unpopular and divisive health care reform bill, with a monstrous price tag of $940 billion, whose repeal is now supported by 55 per cent of likely US voters. As I wrote at the time of its passing, the legislation is “a great leap forward by the United States towards a European-style vision of universal health care, which will only lead to soaring costs, higher taxes, and a surge in red tape for small businesses. This reckless legislation dramatically expands the power of the state over the lives of individuals, and could not be further from the vision of America ’s founding fathers.”
7. Obama’s handling of the Gulf oil spill has been weak-kneed and indecisive
While much of the spilled oil in the Gulf has now been thankfully cleared up, the political damage for the White House will be long-lasting. Instead of showing real leadership on the matter by acing decisively and drawing upon offers of international support, the Obama administration settled on a more convenient strategy of relentlessly bashing an Anglo-American company while largely sitting on its hands. Significantly, a poll of Louisiana voters gave George W. Bush higher marks for his handling of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, with 62 percent disapproving of Obama’s performance on the Gulf oil spill.
8. US foreign policy is an embarrassing mess under the Obama administration
It is hard to think of a single foreign policy success for the Obama administration, but there have been plenty of missteps which have weakened American global power as well as the standing of the United States . The surrender to Moscow on Third Site missile defence, the failure to aggressively stand up to Iran’s nuclear programme, the decision to side with ousted Marxists in Honduras, the slap in the face for Great Britain over the Falklands, have all contributed to the image of a US administration completely out of its depth in international affairs. The Obama administration’s high risk strategy of appeasing America ’s enemies while kicking traditional US allies has only succeeded in weakening the United States while strengthening her adversaries.
9. President Obama is muddled and confused on national security
From the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq to the War on Terror, President Obama’s leadership has often been muddled and confused. On Afghanistan he rightly sent tens of thousands of additional troops to the battlefield. At the same time however he bizarrely announced a timetable for the withdrawal of US forces beginning in July 2011, handing the initiative to the Taliban. On Iraq he has announced an end to combat operations and the withdrawal of all but 50,000 troops despite a recent upsurge in terrorist violence and political instability, and without the Iraqi military and police ready to take over. In addition he has ditched the concept of a War on Terror, replacing it with an Overseas Contingency Operation, hardly the right message to send in the midst of a long-war against Al-Qaeda.
10. Obama doesn’t believe in American greatness
Barack Obama has made it clear that he doesn’t believe in American exceptionalism, and has made apologising for his country into an art form. In a speech to the United Nations last September he stated that “no one nation can or should try to dominate another nation. No world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will succeed. No balance of power among nations will hold.” It is difficult to see how a US president who holds these views and does not even accept America ’s greatness in history can actually lead the world’s only superpower with force and conviction.
There is a distinctly Titanic-like feel to the Obama presidency and it’s not hard to see why. The most left-wing president in modern American history has tried to force a highly interventionist, government-driven agenda that runs counter to the principles of free enterprise, individual freedom, and limited government that have made the United States the greatest power in the world, and the freest nation on earth.
This, combined with weak leadership both at home and abroad against the backdrop of tremendous economic uncertainty in an increasingly dangerous world, has contributed to a spectacular political collapse for a president once thought to be invincible. America at its core remains a deeply conservative nation, which cherishes its traditions and founding principles. President Obama is increasingly out of step with the American people, by advancing policies that undermine the United States as a global power, while undercutting America ’s deep-seated love for freedom.

Border agents and DHS government employees are revolting against Obama's back door amnesty program against the illegals coming across our borders. They want to enforce the law and do their jobs, but Obama and his political appointees are trying to block the border agents and the dedicated employees of CBP.
Again, Obama and his administration are not protecting the tax paying American citizens, but playing politics and catering to the left-wing of the Democrat party and open borders crowd. No confidence in Obama---really.
The union that represents rank-and-file field agents at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has unanimously passed a "vote of no confidence" for the agency's leadership, saying ICE has "abandoned" its core mission of protecting the public to support a political agenda favoring amnesty.
The National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council of the American Federation of Government Employees, which represents 7,000 ICE agents and employees, voted 259-0 for a resolution saying there was "growing dissatisfaction and concern" over the leadership of Assistant Secretary John Morton, who heads ICE, and Phyllis Coven, assistant director for the agency's office of detention policy and planning.
The resolution said ICE leadership had "abandoned the agency's core mission of enforcing U.S. immigration laws and providing for public safety," instead directing its attention "to campaigning for programs and policies related to amnesty and the creation of a special detention system for foreign nationals that exceeds the care and services provided to most U.S. citizens similarly incarcerated.
"It is the desire of our union … to publicly separate ourselves from the actions of Director Morton and Assistant Director Coven and publicly state that ICE officers and employees do not support Morton or Coven or their misguided and reckless initiatives, which could ultimately put many in America at risk," the union said.
In a strongly worded statement, the union and its affiliated local councils said the integrity of the agency "as well as the public safety" would be "better provided for in the absence of Director Morton and Assistant Director Coven."
The statement also noted that:
• The majority of ICE's enforcement and removal officers are prohibited from making street arrests or enforcing U.S. immigration laws outside of the jail setting.
• Hundreds of ICE officers nationwide perform no law enforcement duties whatsoever because of resource mismanagement within the agency.
• ICE detention reforms have transformed into a detention system aimed at providing resort-like living conditions to criminal aliens based on recommendations not from ICE officers and field managers, but from "special-interest groups."
• The lack of technical expertise and field experience has resulted in a priority of providing bingo nights, dance lessons and hanging plants to criminals, instead of addressing safe and responsible detention reforms for noncriminal individuals and families.
Our southern border is more dangerous that the borders in Iraq and Afghanistan. Where is the US Department of State when it comes to Mexico and their policy of send millions of illegals across our border? Where is the Department of Justice and Homeland Security on fighting the drug cartels and human trafficking organizations? Our political leaders are absent when it comes to fully enforcing our borders and protecting our rights.
It is all about potential voters and union members.
